What a timely post. I’m always collecting japanese furoshiki but never using them, except for the once a year picnic. I’ve just started using them to package up my lunch for work. It makes taking my lunch so much more pleasant.

I’m a big fan of furoshiki as well – I love wrapping gifts in huge scarves. This striped one is fantastic. I feel a purchase coming on. 😉
