I spent part of the day in the Columbia River Gorge. Out of towners: If you ever visit Oregon, this should be your first stop.

P.S. I know I said I was on vacation but I can't refuse high speed Internet at my fingertips.

happy labor day!

I've been a bad blogger this week! Computer troubles are preventing me from posting a long list of things I want to share with you. Apologies to anyone who has tried to reach me through email as that has been problematic as well. I'll be taking a break for the Labor Day weekend and hopefully I'll have things fixed by Tuesday! Have a great weekend!!

Nicole Hill popped into town earlier this week. I found props and helped a little with styling for an Airstream Trailer photo shoot down on the beach in Gearhart (my favorite Oregon beach town).

I first saw this wedding on Elizabeth Dye's blog. I was so intrigued that I emailed the bride for more info. Everything about the wedding was a reflection of the couple's passion for Portland. The bride and groom were outfitted by local designers (Elizabeth Dye and A Broken Spoke).All the flowers were from a local farm. They even had local band, The Shaky Hands play at the reception. Food was all local by their favorite chefs. It took place at Holocene which is a fantastic contemporary venue that needs little embellishment. I love the linens they added as well as all those fabulous flags!
