I love it when a wedding can stand the test of time. About nine or ten years ago, I spotted this wedding in Country Living and after tracking it down online today, it still looks absolutely stunning to me. It happens to be the wedding of Portland-local Kara Larson, owner of Tumbleweed.

Ooh flower petals get me everytime. Goes to show that the simplest wedding or event will still be lovely years from now.

Kara made her own wedding dress, and now makes and sells dresses (her motto, wear more dresses) at her store and on her website (tumbleweeds and kara-line). Great great great dresses, and her wedding was gorgeous, She is the NICEST person.

Absolutely beautiful! The petals are darling and the vine working its way along the cake really draws the eye up! Great shot.
