When thinking about decorating a new apartment, I still turn to Domino. My favorite stories were Amanda Peet's house + Rita Konig's apartments (1,2). I guess I am looking for a sort of mish mash of restrained clutter and ultimately a home filled with meaningful and useful objects arranged in a comfortable and pretty way.
All photos originally from Domino Magazine. Top photo found here. Hannah also posted about Amanda Peet's house today.

Restrained clutter is an awesome name for a blog/website/shop.
Love it!
And I usually don't like pink, but it works in that first photo.

How funny...I have that room of Amanda Peet's flagged in that issue of Domino! I loved the use of pink and the collection of pillows...so sweet. Sigh, I still miss domino!

Lovely little knick-knacks in the photo. I want to go out hunting for old Domino issues now.
