David Lebovitz did a great post about French napkin traditions and I simply love the idea of writing each guest's name directly onto the napkin. I am taking note for my next dinner party!

Hum... I've never even thought that this was a tradition that others don't have. We've always had our own napkins, I still remember how you had to bring your own napkin to summer camp and all.
