Beautiful! Just beautiful! Love the photos and flowers! It looks quite lovely there.

I always associate bluebells with English children's novels. How charming that you actually have them growing near you!
This area just explodes with forsythia this time of year, and I love to pair it with pussy willows :)

Gorgeous! It makes me want to live in the country side...

Your friend looks so lovely!

delicious indeed.... these are lovely!

such pretty photos! and looks like a fun adventure. we all need days away from the computer screen!

these are so lovely! i was so impressed with all the flowers when i visited portland, even in the city.

Sounds like a perfect afternoon. That top photo is absolutely gorgeous... looks like it's out of a fairytale or something!

Oh my! The first image is beautiful! Just stunning. My jaw is on the floor...

This is so beautiful, Chelsea! Your friend is lovely and I love her basket.

Oh soooo cute!

Wow, gorgeous!!!

Oh wow these photos are beautiful. They make me wish the sun was out where I am and that I had my own woven purse to pick bluebells with.

Thanks for sharing

So pretty! I love that your spring in the Pacific NW is already so lush + green!

Beautiful shots, Chelsea!
You are a great photographer.
I love how her outfit blends in perfectly.

bluebells! I have these all over my backyard and love love love making tiny bouquets for every room in the house. Last year when we moved in my stubborn boy roomates declared them all weeds and ripped them out of the lawn. I shed a few tears, but this year they are back, better than ever! And no flower killing had occured. In fact, the boy has embraced their loveliness with plans to build a stepping stone path under their lovely leafy umbrella.

Also, I am curious about the location of the first picture! Hoyt? or Forest Park?

Alice's Adventures: Thanks! Your backyard sounds divine!! The top photo was taken at The Bishop's Close Garden in SW and the rest were taken in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone!

with all this pastels colours and the blooming, Spring is the most spectacular season of the year!

Maybe is also because I love flowers.... see a few on my blog:

Great photos frolic! Thanks for posting the location as well. I live in SE and recommend the rhododendron garden as a really good location as well. Love P-town in the spring!

That first pic in particular has stolen my heart---that low mossy branch has been waiting its whole life for this moment of fame!!!

So beautiful and lucky to enjoy it...it reminds me of some time i spent in oxford.

these photos are simply stunning!!

Can I ask you where and how you learned to take pictures like that?

lien: That is very sweet. I still have a lot to learn, especially when it comes to the technical stuff but I recommend buying Nicole Hill's book. She teaches you how to run your camera on manual. http://nicolesclasses.bigcartel.com/product/photo-101-textbook-preorder
