Beautiful arrangements.

I have a softspot for white carnations as grandad used to grow them in his garden, amoung spuds and other veggies. When I smell them I think of him...

These are beautiful! You are lucky to be able to grab from your mother's garden such beautiful blooms. I love having fresh flowers in the house.

That's so lovely, Jane. I bet his garden was amazing.

Thanks, Kim! Aren't weekly flowers the best?

I just love that vase. Beautiful colour.

The vase is a cutie too. Your ma's garden must be glorious. The books are great. I must duck over to your Flickr for a look. Violet. Great name for a flower arranger.

gorgeous flowers & photos and love the books, too!

oh what a lovely arrangement. i can feel the warmth of the sun from those photos. how is it mid summer already?
that can only mean it'll be spring here very soon!!

I hope you enjoy it :)

gorgeous! love the books too ;)

So pretty Chelsea!! I love honeysuckle - reminds me of summer trips up north :)

these are so pretty!

So lovely! I don't think I've ever seen orange honeysuckle? It grows like a weed here on the Coast of Oregon, and the huge bush (that's trying to take over the hedge roses!) is this vibrant pink. We don't often get warm nights, but when we do, the scent it breathtaking!

Girl after my own heart -gorgeous blooms from across the pond. LOVE.

Come to London soon please miss, I have a stack of books written by eccentric old ladies on the sujet of flowers which would be right up your alley.

Pretty pretty pretty. Bet the honeysuckle smells divine. Def a fan of the carnation family, even though they seem to be very unfashionable at the moment!

thanks for the comments, everyone! Tammy- I'd love to fly to London this sec!!
