I have a new article up at Project Wedding. I've got a thing for hand written paper goods and I think they can be completely charming for a wedding or even just a backyard dinner party. I was actually really inspired by the Land's End Canvas branding when I created this.

This is Sally, one of the chickens at Poplar Point. There are six of them now. Henriettia is pretty cute too!
Last night I got lost at Powell's and found a delicious stack of summer reads. I can't wait to delve into them over the weekend.
What are all you lovely people doing this weekend? I hope you have lots of sunshine, or shade, whichever you prefer.
One more thing to share. This week I read an amazing article in the July/August issue of Whole Living (pg. 80/not online) regarding body image and what size healthy actually is. I hope every girl can read it.

I love this new to me band, Phosphorescent. If you like Band of Horses, you'll probably like these guys too. Their easy, twangy sound is ideal for the summer season.

I think balloons are always magical. For my latest Project Wedding article, I made these seating/table assignment cards. I like the idea of guests walking around with balloons! These would also be great favors and centerpieces for a kid's party.

I am not much of a sunglasses girl. I'd never seen a style I liked until I read about these vintage sunglasses over on Honora's lovely blog. J.Crew sells a new version (for your arm + leg), or you can find them on ebay or Etsy like Anna did.
