So Portland is kind of famous for food carts, but did you know we have a double-decker dress shop? Owner, Erin Sutherland (also a musician in The Stolen Sweets) restored the bus after getting laid off from her job. You can read the story over at the Oregonian and see photos of the restoration over on Facebook. I think this is a prime example of how this crappy economy can spur awesome creativity and innovation.

Bravo to Erin for being so amazingly talented to come up with such a tremendous idea. Leave it to a Portlander to be on the cutting edge.
Looking forward to checking out the photos. I'll be sure to have my daughter Kate on the look out for great frocks on wheels.
Go DUCKS!!

What an incredibly fresh and wonderful way to create a store - and it's mobile too!!! Amazing.
