I completely bought that pack a couple of weeks ago - in fact I think it's at the post office for me tonight! So excited.

Oh yes please. We have a pair of old timey snowshoes like that that were hand made and I love them, though we never get to use them in NC. I plan to strap those bad boys on as soon as we get to Minnesota this Christmas and traipse through the country a la Anne of Green Gables. And I need that basket. I'm now, yet again, envious of Jane!

ooh. i'm supposed to be writing, not ogling blogs. but as always, your lovely posts lured me here! now i know what i've been missing: wooden snowshoes.

I was just speaking with a friend about snow shoeing! yeah what a fun shop!
