Love it!! Can't wait to see more.

ooooh, i want to see the end result so bad!!!

I can't wait to see more! I have no doubt it'll be absolutely gorgeous! :)

exciting!

I'm so excited! You're making me wish I could re-do our place :)

I've always adored the Amanda Peet room! I go back to it time and again just to stare. You have great style - I can't wait to see how your place evolves.

Oooh, love it! It's going to be beautiful! And Elizabeth Dye is an interior designer, too? Can't wait to see the progress.

These images are so you! I've been thinking about some changes too and you're definitely inspiring me. I'm especially intrigued by the decision to live in one room and turn the bedroom into an office space. I've been struggling to keep my work accessible, but not always visible, in my one-bedroom and this might be a solution!

I'm so excited by this series. You're brilliant for sharing it!

so inspiring and so fun! can't wait to see what you and elizabeth come up with!

Colleen: Yup! The girl is genius. She's done some really pretty stuff with her shops over the years and that was enough for me!

Wow, 50 yards of gingham to play with sounds like a dream to me...

can't wait to see what you do.

this series is becoming one of my most anticipated reads whenever it pops up in my reader :)

loving all of the inspiration, chelsea!

So fun! Can't wait to see what fabulousness you & Elizabeth Dye create! Covered gingham walls??

These images make me think of how I would like my apartment to look! I look forward to seeing how your projects pan out and what your place will finally look like!

Sounds like a really fun project to embark on. I can't wait to see it unfold.

Best of luck and have fun!!

xx Charlotta

Bravo for having lots of gingham - I love it too!

so cool! Really heart it! :)

this is so exciting! i cannot wait to see what you two talented ladies come up with!

that top right image has been one of my favorites for so long!

50 yards! Maybe you could make some sheets. And matching curtains. And maybe some tea towels. ;)

Can't wait to see the result!

Would it be crazy to "paper" the walls of a smaller space in the gingham? Wrap homasote panels with the gingham and then affix to the wall at the corners? The panels are typically 4 x 8 at Home Depot, insanely inexpensive and have the added bonus of being perfect bulletin boards. Also easy to cut. So depending on your ceiling height you might not need to do too much in the way of construction. Just a thought... maybe totally insane!
Can't wait to see how it all comes together.

Oh I am going to love following your apartment redesign. I too am moving and am full of interior design thoughts. Fun!

Love it!It's such a treat getting a glimpse into your design process! Looking forward to the finished project.

fabulous! I'm living without roommates for the first time so I also am making it more "me" little by little....still lots of work to do!
