I am so excited about these new packs from Sketchbook. I kind of had a little panic attack when I saw them. Inspired by mountaineering gear from the early 1900's, these packs are all handmade in small batches with waxed canvas, duck cloth and wool. See more here.

I was forced to used an old family back pack like this when I was a kid (my mum wouldn't buy me a fancy new pink one) ... these make me feel all nostalgic!

i have a duluth pack that i've been meaning to wax. seeing these makes me think i really will need to! i love the roll top, perfect for all of those extra bits and bobs that somehow always end up in my bag.

Ah, seeing these makes me think of going off on some grand adventure. They don't seem super practical but still they are lovely.
