Oh my, are those macaroons stitched? Adorable! The tower is just beautiful as well x Melissa

Oooh! I've never tried making macaroons before, but that display has me itching to try! It's gorgeous.

SO CUTE and SO colorful! simply adorable!

aw, I have to admit, I love Valentine's Day - even if it is just a Hallmark holiday, really. Back in September, I bought a groupon for $100 towards dinner and drinks at Place Pigalle here in Seattle, and I finally took my husband out for a luxurious dinner tonight. They offered us the option of waiting a few minutes at the bar and then snagging the table at the back of the restauarant, tucked up against a window looking out over Elliot Bay where we could watch the ferries coming and going from the islands all night. We had sparkling wine and escargots and crab cakes and scallops and creme brulee and espresso... SO ROMANTIC for two foodies!! It totally took me back to our one-night stay at La Mere Poulard on Le Mont St. Michel on our honeymoon. I even ordered Calvados after dinner, just as we enjoyed in Normandy!

Valentine's Day is so so so fun. Love the colours and love all the warm and fuzzies that come with it. Fabulous list - I enjoyed checking them out:)

I would not say no to that tower of macarons!
