outtakes: helvetia gardens

Chervil

I am finding garden inspiration in these photos I snapped a summer or two ago when I was helping a friend with a research project about Helvetia, an area outside Portland filled with beautiful rolling farm land that has been in danger of development. We toured and visited a few old family farms in the area. I loved how wild the gardens were. Above, a patch of chervil, and below a wild, unkept archway of various tree branches with some lovely bearded irises beneath.
