This sweet, fitted, ballet-neck sweater from Quince is so lovely. They make some of the prettiest knitting patterns.

I also love their collaboration with 3191, Interwoven, a little book that includes projects and inspiration meant for the non-knitter too!

The weather in Portland is more than miserable. I don't know if it's 10 AM or 10 PM. It's killing me! It's nice to scroll through Michelle Armas's site for some color. She's always been one of my favorite painters.

moses soyer + larry fink

I stumbled across this photo yesterday after falling in love with a painting by Moses Soyer at the Portland Art Museum and I can't stop staring at it. The photo, taken by Larry Fink, includes a painting of ballerinas by Moses Soyer. It was taken in his painting studio around 1957. Read more about it here.

the language of flowers

Being the flower nerd I am, I've long been a fan of the language of flowers. I used to make little message bouquets to give to people all the time.
