a garden-inspired home

Lonny 4 Deborah needleman rita konig house

After moving all weekend, I've been furiously researching interiors. The first issue of Lonny has an article about former Domino editor, Deborah Needleman's home which was decorated by Rita Konig. I was thrilled to find out that Deborah is a former garden writer and a passionate gardener. I simply adore her home and the gathered, wild bouquets placed in each room. The article left me hungry for a plot of land!

P.S. If anyone knows where I can find the ribbon be-decked bamboo shades in the bottom left photo, I'd be forever grateful!

  1. Congrats on moving into the new space! I know exactly what you mean about looking for inspiration – I’ve been doing the exact same thing since we moved into our new place last month. The contrast of the bamboo blinds and dark walls is gorgeous. I’d love to know if you find a source for the blinds!

  2. That article still stands out to me when I think about that first issue of Lonny. I saved several photos from it for my inspiration files. Enjoy decorating your new home – and don’t forget to take a few moments and breath!
