Over the weekend I went to Cottbus with my friend Juliane and her mom. It's a charming little city along The Spree River in Brandenburg, Germany.
We had Turkish food and visited the museum there where they had an exhibit of Manfred Butzmann's work which I loved. I just wish I could understand more German!
If you are ever in the area, this is a super lovely place to spend an afternoon.

Such beautiful images – happy to see what a wonderful time you’re having!
Beautiful! I visited Germany a couple years ago and had a wonderful time. Great photos!
What a beautiful place! I’d love a house that you can just walk straight out on to the river!
Ooh, it looks beautiful! Putting it on my [now very long] list of places to see.
Beautiful! Cottbus looks to be so charming, especially the house with the boat!
My brother lives in Germany with his wife and children and all the photos really make me realize that I need to figure out a way to get over there to visit them! To see them and to see the sights.

It looks darling! I’ve been to several countries in Europe, but Germany is still on my “to visit” list & these photos are making me want to go right now!
I love the home with the turquoise boat. Great photos Chelsea!
It looks so beautiful. In Germany I remember saying, “Sprechen Sie English?” A lot…and also speaking french to get directions and such.
The green buildings against the blue sky are gorgeous.
