Do you own a small business or Etsy shop? Would you like to learn how to photograph and style your products? On Sunday, October 21st, Lisa Warninger and I will be giving a product styling and photography workshop at The Ace Hotel in Portland, hosted by Etsy. We've worked on photo shoots for clients like Chronicle Books, HGTV, and Kinfolk Magazine and Etsy shops like Anna Joyce and Elizabeth Dye. We'll share our trade secrets, demo a photo shoot, and consult you on how you should shoot your product (full day tickets only).
You will learn:
-How to create a set for that will sell your product.
-How to use natural light and minimal resources to photograph.
-How to get your products featured on blogs.
+ more!
Both Lisa and I have a love for small businesses and are excited to meet you. There is limited space available. Sign up here!

Hello
Any chance that one of these great styling workshops would be held in NYC? I would love to attend but Portland is a little bit of a hike for me.
Thanks,
Shawn
I’m in! This is perfect timing…I need to revamp my product shots!
Hi Shawn!
We’ll certainly take that into consideration. I hadn’t really planned on offering styling workshops so this is kind of a one-off thing. I am working on an online floral design class for next spring though. Thanks for the feedback!

Oooh how I wish I could be present! Is there any chance that Etsy will record/broadcast it?
What about offering these things online? I’d jump at that chance!
PS. Count me in for your online class design. Yay! 🙂
Sounds like a fantastic workshop! Such vital topics to be discussed. All the best!
This is so exciting! If I didn’t already have a trip planned and booked at that time, I would totally book a flight right now and be there! I hope you do another one. I really do. 🙂
pretty please have one in atlanta 🙂
This sounds fab, any chance of an online workshop so that those of us on ‘the other side of the pond’ (aka UK) could take part? xxx
